BananaCorp, a dynamic player in the Web3 space, consists of several subdivisions including BananaConf, BananaSolution, BananaVentures, BananaDAOQuiri, and Banana x Industry. The branding directive for BananaCorp is to embody a bold, colorful, and edgy aesthetic with punk feel, while maintaining a professional and reliable appearance.
Garage Italia Studio was commissioned to create a new Brand Identity for BananaCorp, including the development of a brand book including all the guidelines for a correct usage. In addition, Garage Italia Studio was responsible for producing all materials for their event, BananaConf Tallinn 2024, from physical, to digital outputs, ensuring a consistent and impactful communication.
Banana Corp's redesigned logo features a modern, open banana design in a pop-vintage style, emphasizing versatility and readability with bold outlines. The updated logo highlights "Banana" in bold typeface, with thinner weights for the brand's subdivisions. Logo variations include horizontal and icon-free formats to meet different branding needs.
BananaCorp has implemented two distinctive typography styles. The first draws on a retro, pop culture and comic book-inspired aesthetic to convey a lively and original vibe. In contrast, a clear and modern sans-serif font has been selected to maintain the professional and institutional image of BananaCorp.
The main color of the BananaCorp brand is a distinctive shade of yellow, central to its identity and predominant in its various outputs. Each BananaCorp sub-brand, however, has its own dominant color, following the same rules of usage as for the main brand. BananaConf is an exception, it is the department responsible for organizing events where people, cultures, and knowledge come together in a mix of flavors. It uses a larger palette in which yellow still maintains a central role, complemented by accent colors from other sub-brands and black to ensure good contrast.
